Our Story

Both of our founding partners, Jeremy T. Schilling and Aaron D. Silvers, started their careers on the other side. They defended insurance companies — Jeremy for more than six years, Aaron at a large national firm handling first-party property and bad-faith litigation. They sat in the rooms where claims get valued, delayed, and denied, and they learned exactly which arguments carriers take seriously and which ones they wait out.

They left that work for a simple reason: the people on the receiving end of those decisions almost never had anyone in their corner with the same training. So they opened their own firm in Fort Lauderdale and pointed that experience the other way — at the carriers, on behalf of injured people and Florida policyholders.

The firm opened as Schilling & Silvers, and many clients still know us by that name. Today we practice as The Bald Injury Lawyers — same attorneys, same office, same case files. The name on the door changed; who represents you did not.

Today the practice runs on two tracks that share the same opponent. On the injury side we handle car, truck, motorcycle, pedestrian, slip and fall, and other negligence claims across Broward County and South Florida. On the property side we take on insurers that deny or underpay homeowners after hurricanes, water damage, and roof losses. Both partners work across that full range, and the firm is small enough that the attorney you meet is the attorney on your case.
